Independent training, examination
and certification of people.
CAS Academy is the personnel-certification arm of CAS Conformity Assessment Services. We design schemes, run training programmes, conduct examinations, and issue tamper-resistant certificates that employers can verify in seconds.
Mission
Credentials that mean something
Many certificates are issued by the same body that trained the candidate. CAS Academy separates training, examination and certification deliberately, so the final credential reflects independent assessment of competence — not just participation. Every certificate carries a public verification URL so employers can confirm validity in real time.
Independent decisions
A separate impartiality-protected committee makes every final certification decision — never the trainer.
Auditable process
The full lifecycle — application, exam grading, decision, surveillance — is logged and reviewable on demand.
Qualified people
Trainers and examiners hold sector-specific qualifications, and examiner and trainer roles are kept distinct for every scheme.
Continuous improvement
Feedback, complaints and appeals feed straight into scheme reviews — we publish the framework and act on the findings.
Standards we operate under
ISO/IEC 17024 + ISO 21001
These two standards govern how CAS Academy operates. They differ from the scheme reference standards (e.g. Codex CXC 1-1969 for HACCP), which describe the candidate’s competency framework.
ISO/IEC 17024:2026
Conformity assessment — Requirements for bodies certifying persons
✓Applies to certificates that involve an examination.
When a candidate is examined (with or without prior training), the certificate carries this standard because the examination process itself conforms to ISO/IEC 17024.
ISO 21001:2025
Educational organisations — Management systems for educational organisations
✓Applies to every certificate we issue.
Whether the candidate is trained only (attendance) or trained and examined, training delivery runs under an ISO 21001-aligned quality system.
Which standards appear on your certificate
Attendance-only certificate
Trained but not examined → carries ISO 21001:2025 only.
Examination certificate
Examined (with or without training) → carries ISO 21001:2025 + ISO/IEC 17024:2026.
Quality & impartiality
