Privacy and confidentiality.

We treat all information obtained or created during the certification process as confidential, except for what is published on our public verification page.

Data protection

What we collect, why, and your rights.

Public information about your certification — limited to name, scope and current status — is published only on our verification page.

What we collect

  • Identification data needed to register you as an applicant and verify your identity at examination time.
  • Education, work history and supporting evidence required by the scheme prerequisites.
  • Examination responses, scores and invigilation evidence.
  • Certification decision records and any subsequent surveillance, recertification, appeal or complaint records.
  • Account, authentication and access-log data needed to operate the platform securely.

Lawful release of information

Where law or contract requires us to release confidential information about you, we will notify you of the information being released, unless prohibited by law (§7.3.4).

Retention

Records relating to your certification are retained for at least one full certification cycle, or longer if a recognition arrangement requires it (§7.1.2).

Your rights

You may request access, correction or, where appropriate, deletion of your personal data by contacting info@cas.com.eg. We will respond within a reasonable time.
